VENUS PASSES BETWEEN THE EARTH AND THE SUN THIS TUESDAY

Today (05/06/2012) begins the transit of Venus, where the planet passes directly between Earth and Sun at 22h04 GMT (19H04 GMT) and ends tomorrow at 4:55 a.m. GMT (1:55 a.m. GMT) when it will start to countdown of the Mayan calendar.


The moment this happens, Venus will appear as seen from some places, like a small black dot moving on the surface of the Sun In Brazil, this phenomenon will only be observed in the far west of Amazonas, Acre and Roraima . Scientists warn people to never look directly at the sun without special glasses eclipses, nor try to observe the phenomenon through binoculars or telescopes, at the risk of suffering from eye injuries.
